About Nicole Roth

As a writer and a reader, I love to get to know new characters and get lost in their fictional worlds. I began writing in elementary school when I would steal moments to handwrite stories in the back of my school notebooks. Back then, I wrote adventure stories about my dog or about fierce warrior princesses.

 

Now, most of my fiction focuses on realistic character relationships and family dramas. ​I earned a BA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University, and I live in Illinois with my husband, a goofy dog, and a grumpy cat.
